View the Certification Chart  for detailed information regarding the 20 hour SAFE ACT education requirement. The 20 hours must be completed by December 31, 2009.  Continuing education will count towards your certification.

Check the website periodically to see if your credit hours are up-to-date. If within a reasonable time, at least seven business days, after taking a course your record has not changed, contact the provider to ensure that the provider has notified the Commissioner of your hours.

Please Note: A LICENSED MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR MAY NOT TAKE THE SAME APPROVED COURSE IN THE SAME OR SUCCESSIVE YEARS TO MEET THE ANNUAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION.
