• The NMLS website contains comprehensive information about how to use the system to meet North Carolina’s licensing requirements.  In particular, licensees should refer to the Workflows and Quick Guides in the Licensee's Section of the website.

• Mortgage Loan Originators must apply for a mortgage loan originator license by submitting an MU4 filing via the NMLS website. 

• Any jurisdiction specific requirements must be submitted to the NCCOB to complete the application process.
